Tikal National Park - Overnight

Day 1: 7AM departure from Guatemala City airport for the 50 minute flight to Flores. Reception at the airport and transfer to the National Park of Tikal. A guided tour through the archaeological site visiting the "Q" complex, Main Square, North and Central Acropolis, Mundo Perdido and the Museum. Overnight at the Tikal Inn or Jungle Lodge.

Day 2: Today you will wake up with the sounds of the jungle. You have the day to re-explore Tikal. In the afternoon you will be driven back to Flores for the short flight to Guatemala City. All meals included.

Ceibal National Park - Overnight

8AM reception at the airport in Flores and transfer to Sayaxche on the banks of the Rio Pasion. Boat transport up-river to Ceibal National Park. Accompanied by your expert trip leader, explore the ruins of this important Mayan city. In the afternoon, retrace your path back to Flores. Lunch included. Overnight at the Hotel Santana in Flores.
